Guided Meditation for Motherless Daughters

Loralee has written a lovely guided meditation for women who are grieving the loss of their mother, either recent or from over the years. Loralee’s own mother passed away when Loralee was just 32 and since then she has always found mother’s day to be bitter sweet. Loralee turns to meditation and Reiki for her own healing and wishes all those grieving for their moms the same peace that she wishes for herself.

A small gift of distance Reiki for whoever may need it today. Sign up for the Karma Project below for your chance to receive. Each month with a humble heart Loralee will gift to one student/client/friend a service that she is currently offering.

Loralee believes that meditation is the foundation to all spiritual practices and should be incorporated into ones’ daily routine. As with all her 1:1 or small groups, training is available in person or online. Students may choose their preferred day/time that works for them. Loralee teaches not only how to meditate, but how to create your own meditation practice. Loralee also provides a unique service where she will compose/record a personal meditation just for you, relevant to what you are working on healing in your life. Costs are discussed during your initial consultation with payment required in full prior to training.

A Meditation for the Anxious Mind

Loralee Scobie understands that many individuals are suffering with anxiety today and our “fight or flight” response is in overdrive. In her own personal practice, Loralee believes that meditation has been an antidote for anxiety. Many studies also support this belief.

She humbly offers this complimentary, intentionally short meditation to demonstrate to you how simple meditation can be and that you can do this anywhere at anytime.

Enjoy!

Introduction to Meditation - Learn to Cultivate your Meditation Practice.

Designed by Loralee Scobie, Introduction to Meditation - Learn to Cultivate your Meditation Practice offers participants an opportunity to learn not only how to meditate but more importantly how to sustain their meditation practice.

Loralee recognizes that many people already know “how” to meditate, but don’t know how to develop a daily practice of meditation. Together we’ll explore the spiritual and mental blocks that have prevented participants in the past from fully benefiting from a daily meditation practice.

Loralee draws from both years of studying eastern philosophies and from her own 25 years of practicing and teaching meditation.

Testimonials

“Ahhh so beautiful! Thank you for another lovely meditation. I do believe you have helped me get back on track to a daily practice. Thank you! I am finding every day that the time between having to bring myself back from thoughts in my head is growing longer. I think I may have even felt what I can only think of as bliss during meditation. It made me realize and know again how much I need this as part of my life. I am also noticing moments throughout my days when I pause to really notice things around me. And the calm I feel while cleaning or really doing anything mindfully is almost always part of anything I do now. I even think about it while I am eating which reminded me of our retreat with Thay where I for the first time in my life ate mindfully. Such a wonderful memory. Thank you again for providing these lovely meditations that I can go back to again and again. Much love for you always. Namaste my friend.”

“I just finished the fourth meditation. Thank you for doing this class. It has allowed me to find the joy in meditation and remind me of who I am. Life gets so busy and full of activities and goals that we forget the basic truths and love for self and others. Your class has reminded me of that and how to stay in the flow of the joy and peace of the world.

It is so easy to fall into the old adage that the ‘world is falling apart, it is getting worse everyday. The meditation is helping me stay centered and balanced. Love you and thank you again!”
